'The Bachelor's Kelsey Weier Addresses Rumors She Got a Nose Job
While we have our comfiest clothes on and a bottle of wine open every Monday night to watch The Bachelor, it's sometimes difficult not to judge the contestants—on any season. This time, Peter Weber's women kind of got the short end of the stick with viewers, with many fans of the franchise coming out with no favorites at all. And even beyond not having a fav to win the pilot's final rose, we'd be lying if we said people weren't being pretty harsh with every single woman. For Kelsey Weier's part, those watching at home made fun of her for that now-iconic champagne exploding moment, for crying all the time, and unfairly, when assuming she got a nose job.
Did Kelsey From The Bachelor Get a Nose Job?
The 28-year-old Iowa native sparked rumors right away that she got a nose job, with many fans on the internet tweeting their thoughts about it. Well, Kelsey has clearly seen all the commotion, and is addressing the speculation head on. Taking to Instagram this week, she posted a gorgeous selfie with the caption, "Spoiler alert: My nose is real." Fans and fellow Bachelor alums started rushing to the comments section to send their support.
"Beauty [heart emoji]," Hannah Ann Sluss wrote, while Katrina Badowski added, "I love you and your perfect nose." A fan even said, "If y’all will see her hometown date everyone in her family has the same nose! Bye haters!" And others were preoccupied with the idea that Kelsey might be the next Bachelorette to even comment on her nose. She also received messages such as, "Praying you’re the bachelorette! [heart emoji]," and "KELSEY FOR BACHELORETTE."
Although Kelsey shared at the taping for the Women Tell All special one week ago that she hadn't been approached for the role of the next Bachelorette, TV guru Reality Steve has heard different. This week, he shared in a blog post:
"I can tell you three names that I know for sure have been in LA and met with production for formal interviews: Kelsey, Tayshia, and Tia. I’m sure there were more, but those three definitely did. I can’t tell you who they like better, like less, whatever."
Clearly, if fans had to pick a woman from Peter's season for the next leading lady of the franchise, they'd pick Kelsey—nose job or not. The official announcement for Season 16 of The Bachelorette will be made on Good Morning America this upcoming Monday, so we only have a few more days until we find out!
