With Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker coming out in just a few months, diehard fans have been theorizing about any little detail they can find in the trailers. Though it sounds a bit tedious, Esquire reports that Reddit users just might have found something interesting.

The title of the forthcoming film has been debated by the fandom for some time now. Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) is dead, and it has been confirmed that we will have to say goodbye to Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher), Luke’s sister. It has also been confirmed that Rey (Daisy Ridley) is not a Skywalker, leaving just one last family member with ties to the Skywalker name: Ben Solo, aka Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).

Esquire details that a popular fan theory about how Kylo Ren will die is to fall from a high height, a common theme in the franchise. Not only would this give Kylo Ren an opportunity to have a “Ben-demption,” as fans have so elegantly coined, but also an opportunity to rise up from the metaphorical and literal abyss in which he is currently trapped.

This theory was only amplified this week when fans noticed in the final teaser trailer that Rey, who is standing up against resurrected Palpatine, is alone on what looks to be a ledge to a deep chasm. Many believe this could be the place where Kylo Ren falls, only to return to help Rey defeat the Dark Side of the Force.

To add fuel to the fire, fans noted that, in the comic books, Kylo Ren learns in sith-training how to stop himself from hitting the ground in a fall by using the force. Snoke says to him during the training, “If you are to rule by my side, then I can’t have you defeated by heights.”

We will see if Kylo Ren uses that training for good when Rise of Skywalker comes out on Dec. 20.
