The Internet is Not Happy Over 'Stranger Things' Star Joe Keery's New Dramatic Haircut

Joe Keery, better known as Steve “The Hair” Harrington on Stranger Things, has decided to switch up his look with a little haircut, and the internet is not happy about it, BuzzFeed reports.

Actually, from the online reaction, you would think that Keery accidentally cut off his head. Fans are heartbroken, confused, and downright pissed off that he would choose a bowl-cut over his glorious, model-like mane.

One Twitter user posted, “It's been two days since I saw Joe Keery's haircut and I'm still upset.” Another scared fan wrote, “Friday the 13th and the spookiest thing I saw today was Joe Keery’s haircut.”

Of course, there are also the hilariously accurate, but slightly mean videos illustrating people’s shock, awe, and embarrassment for our favorite Hawkins man.

Though a lot of people are ripping the 27-year-old actor's hair to shreds, a lot of fans are also coming to his defense, reminding the Twitter-verse that we’ve all had bad haircuts.

One user related, “Not going to make fun of joe keery’s hair cut because we’ve all been there.” Another got a little more protective of Keery, writing, “A big fat f**k you for all the people saying #joekeery has become ugly now that he has a new haircut. the man is still gorgeous and fine. my god let him be.”

They aren't wrong. And, most importantly, Keery is much more than his beautiful locks! He just dropped his first album, Twenty Twenty, with his band Djo, and is set to star in the upcoming film, Free Guy, alongside Ryan Reynolds.
