Simpler were the times when The Office was on our TV screens. No, I don't mean through Comedy Central reruns or Netflix binges—I mean when the iconic show was actually live on NBC. The beloved workplace comedy ran from 2005 to 2013, and though many fans were there from the beginning, a massive part of the fanbase only discovered the series via streaming years later. If you're one of those in the latter crew, or you're just in the mood for an awesome throwback, you'll want to watch this video.

In 2006, Conan O'Brien hosted the 58th Primetime Emmy Awards. That night, over a decade ago now, The Office ended up taking home the award for Outstanding Comedy Series, with Steve Carell also being nominated for his acting. But before the big show officially kicked off, O'Brien served up an epic opening, with nods to various shows at the time, such as Lost, 24, South Park, and of course, The Office. For Dunder Mifflin's part, the host ended up at the office and interacted with all of our favorite characters, such as Jim, Dwight, Pam, and Michael.

Watch the opening below and try not to burst out laughing at Michael's hilarious bit.

One YouTube user left a comment on the video, saying, "I never realized how many great shows were airing simultaneously in 2006!" Honestly, we couldn't agree more. Watching this gem of a throwback just makes me want to watch the entire series again, not that I needed another reason to do so!
