Watch the Trailer for a New Docuseries All About 'The Office' Fandom
There's no denying the Office fandom is one of the best in the world, and now everyone is going to get the chance to see just that. As reported by GameSpot, a new docuseries titled Fan Level Midnight: Devoted to The Office is coming out, which will highlight stories straight from the fans. If you're a bit salty you weren't asked to be a part of this new show, we're right there with you!
In addition to featuring fans of The Office, some of its stars will also make appearances in the docuseries, such as Leslie David Baker (who played Stanley Hudson), Robert Shafer (who played Bob Vance), and Andy Buckley (who played David Wallace). There will also be interviews from the most dedicated Dunder Mifflin obsessives who take their love for the show to the next level, for instance Sarah McKenzie Baron, an actor who portrays Michael Scott in a musical parody of The Office.
The trailer, which you can watch below, shows director Paul Feige and former NBC executive Kevin Reilly explain the difficulties of remaking The Office for an American audience at the beginning. "We kind of eked our way into a second season pickup which was really a bloody battle for me," Reilly recalls. "I remember one executive literally pounding on the table saying, 'Hasn't America voted on this thing? What do you possibly see?' I wanted to put a knife in his back."
Fan Level Midnight: Devoted to The Office does not yet have a release date yet.
