Greg Daniels' Favorite Moment on 'The Office' Set is Super Emotional
By Rachel Reed
Ready for another behind-the-scenes reveal about The Office? Yeah, me too.
Picking a favorite moment from the unforgettable series seems like an impossible task. The iconic show had so, so many magical moments throughout each season, and according to TV Guide, the show's biggest writers shared their two cents on what memories stood out the most for them at a panel back in 2013. Creator George Daniels of course opened up about his favorite times on set, and it probably comes as no surprise to hear that the story he shared is a tear-jerker.
For most mega fans, Pam and Jim's wedding falls into their top five favorite episodes. The acclaimed showrunner explained his role in that moment, recalling, "To get Jim and Pam's eye line right for the camera, I stepped in as the minister. So they were both looking at me with the full actor-power of all the emotions they were supposed to be feeling at their own wedding, just blasting in my face. I got chills and a fever." Amazing, right? We need another binge session of the episode now that we know this!
As the publication notes, the panel actually took place in the real Scranton, Pennsylvania on May 4, 2013, what the Mayor declared "The Office Day." Hear that, Star Wars fans?
