One of the many iconic themes in the always hilarious, sometimes cringe-worthy show The Office has to be Jim Halpert's facial expressions when he looks up into the camera. Fans know that the series follows the Dunder Mifflin office as they're being recorded for a workplace documentary, meaning they're not supposed to interact with the camera whatsoever. However, Jim often breaks that wall, reacting to the various ridiculous antics happening at work by making a face directly at it. One episode in particular takes this to a whole new level, when he's only able to communicate through facial expressions.

In the latest episode of Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey's podcast, Office Ladies, they discuss the Season 2 episode "Drug Testing," in which Jim has to remain silent after losing to a "jinx" with Pam. It all starts when two co-workers mimic Stanley at the same time, to which Pam is quick to exclaim, "Jinx, buy me a Coke!" But when they discover that the break room no longer has the soda, Jim is forced to not talk for the rest of the day.

According to Mashable, Fischer and Kinsey revealed that the episode's beginning all came from John Krasinski's impressive acting abilities, touching on the fact that he was incredible at doing impressions of other people, and was great at speaking through his facial expressions. "Guys, John Krasinski's impressions were known and legendary," Fischer shared, with Kinsey adding, "We were like 20 episodes in by now and [when we were] hanging out in between scenes or killing time and goofing off John would do these impressions and we loved them."

Apparently, The Office writers knew all about Krasinski's impressions, and knew they just had to incorporate that into the show somehow, even if for a short moment.

"He's a brilliant actor with no words. He's great with words. Without words he's amazing," Fischer gushed of her co-star's performance in this episode, going on to joke, "By the way, I think he made a whole movie based on that. "It's called A Quiet Place... and A Quiet Place II."

As we're all stuck inside during quarantine trying to find fun things to watch, Krasinski should do us all a favor and perform some of these acclaimed impressions online. It would be the perfect segment on his Some Good News YouTube channel!
