'The Office' Star Rainn Wilson Trolls Jim and Pam on Their 10-Year Anniversary

Looks like Dwight Schrute isn’t quite as accepting as he was when we last saw him in The Office series finale.

The ever-popular NBC show began trending online yesterday when fans realized that October 8, 2019 marked the 10-year wedding anniversary of fictional characters Jim and Pam. The pair memorably got married at Niagara Falls in the Season 6 two-part episode from 2009. But while tons of Twitter users were gushing over the discovery, one person was a bit salty about all the celebrating.

Rainn Wilson, who played Dwight, hilariously quote-tweeted a post from Netflix’s official Twitter account commemorating the day, adding a simple, “Idiots.”

Of course, Wilson is playing into his Office character, who wasn’t always the biggest fan of Jim and Pam’s relationship (or anyone’s at all, really). However, Dwight finally came around by the end of the series, with Jim even almost being his best man at his wedding, that is until Jim pulled the best prank ever by bringing Michael back. 

But despite Dwight eventually becoming best of friends with Jim and Pam, it’s still amazing to see Wilson let out some classic Schrute attitude on the special day.
