Phew. The Walking Dead fans can rest easy, because the long-awaited Season 10 finale officially has a date. But don't get your hopes up too much—the premiere day is being kept a secret as of now.

It's been a long time coming for the episode of the fan-favorite zombie show to air, and people have been waiting on the edge of their seats to hear any news about when we can expect it. Originally set to premiere on April 12, like many projects, the finale had to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Though the catch is that we aren't getting the exact date yet, TWD creator Robert Kirkman is dishing as much as he can about the highly-anticipated episode. "The old Walking Dead show will be coming back. We’ll be airing — I know dates. I don’t think they’re public,” Kirkman said on the YouTube channel Cartoonist Kayfabe, per We Got This Covered. “But we have the finale of [Season 10] … there will be more Walking Dead television for you to watch at some point in the future.”
