Twitter is Totally Annoyed About How Things Ended on Netflix's 'Too Hot to Handle'
Netflix's new dating series has definitely gotten people's attention. Initially, the premise of the show seems like nothing special. Too Hot To Handle follows ten gorgeous, bikini-clad singles, who are taken to a special island villa for four weeks to find love and win money. Sounds pretty standard, but 12 hours into the retreat the true nature of the show is revealed.
The contestants are told via virtual assistant, an Alexa-like module called Lana, that they cannot do anything sexual during their time on the show, meaning no sex, no kissing, and no intimate touching of any kind. Money is deducted from the total any time one of these rules is broken. So basically, it is a contest to see who can keep their pants on the longest.
People have taken to Twitter to express their opinions about how the show went down, and many were less than impressed with the way it concluded. With such a sensationalized premise, it looks like some viewers were hoping that the series would have a more satisfying ending than other typical dating shows.

Some fans thought that the ending wasn't fair to people who actually followed the rules.
Others thought the ending was "corny" with one person even asking, "Is this a [Disney] movie?"
A lot of people felt the season finale was incredibly anticlimactic.
And others just hope that if there is a Season 2, it will be better than the first.
Overall, most viewers seem to think the show deserved a better ending. No word yet on whether or not Too Hot to Handle will be renewed for a second season, but you can binge watch the entire first one on Netflix right now.
