Travis Scott to return as a headliner to first music festival post Astroworld tragedy
Travis Scott is set to play his first headlining festival in the US since his deadly Astroworld concert tragedy that left 10 people dead. On Tuesday, it was announced that Scott, 31, has been booked to play the Day N Vegas Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada this September.
Other acts on the festival lineup include SZA, H.E.R., and Summer Walker.
The booking follows Scott's first TV performance since Astroworld, at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards last month. Scott had been keeping a relatively low profile the last six months but has been gradually making a comeback with a string of nightclub appearances.
He welcomed his second child with Kylie Jenner earlier this year, a boy originally named Wolf Webster before the parents decided to change it - though a new name has yet to be announced.
The deadly Astroworld incident took place during Scott's performance set on the evening of Friday, November 5, in his hometown of Houston, Texas
