Alexei from Season 3 of Stranger Things is back on the small screen, but this time without his beloved Slurpee.

Bustle reports that fans were pleasantly surprised to see Alec Utgoff, who played the now-iconic Russian scientist on the Netflix mega-hit, this week on the BBC. The Ukrainian-English actor has taken the role of Abramoff in Dracula. The three-episode special stars Claes Bang as the King Vampire, and tracks his origins from Eastern Europe to his battles with Van Helsing's children.

People have already started to post on Twitter about the fan-favorite actor's appearance.

Utgoff’s role in the mini-series, while slightly smaller than the character of Alexei, will likely be of some importance in the coming episodes. While Abramoff is a relatively insignificant character in Bram Stoker’s original novel, in the show he is a crew member on The Demeter, the ship Dracula is also aboard.

One can only hope that the 33-year-old actor has better luck with his role in the Gothic reconstruction than he did in the '80s-inspired sci-fi series. As you remember, Alexei tragically gets shot by what can only be described as the Russian Terminator in Stranger Things. Though his tenure was brief on the show, his coy grin as he guzzles a cherry Slurpee has become one of the most memorable scenes from the season.

Good luck with Dracula, Alec!
