It's an exciting time to be a Star Wars fan. After years of rallying for an Obi-Wan Kenobi spinoff movie, reports now claim that an entire show for Disney+ is in the works. And fan-favorite actor Ewan McGregor is apparently on board.

Deadline reports that the 48-year-old star is in talks to reprise his role as Jedi Master for a live-action series on the upcoming streaming service. The show does not have a title yet nor release date. And while McGregor has not confirmed the news himself, Twitter is having a field day at the possibility.

Many have been waiting for this for a long time and are ready to freak out.

Others are finding this a game changer for Disney+.

Young people are particularly excited.

It really looks like absolutely no one is upset about this.

Some even find this the only acceptable reason to keep making Star Wars projects.

The general reaction was to fully celebrate the news.

Here's to hoping the reports are true! We all need more Obi-Wan in our lives.
