VIDEO: Amber Portwood Prepares to Tell Her Side of Arrest Story in 'Teen Mom OG' Reunion Teaser

Amber Portwood is finally speaking out after her July 5 arrest in an interview with Dr. Drew, but it did not go down without some contentious moments.

As many already know, Portwood was arrested early last month for domestic battery after she hit allegedly her boyfriend and baby daddy, Andrew Glennon, while he was holding their one-year-old son, James, in his arms. Portwood also allegedly threatened Glennon with a machete, and threatened to kill herself.

Though Glennon has made a public statement about the events of that night, Portwood has remained silent apart from some cryptic social media posts. She even missed the filming of the Teen Mom OG reunion episode due to the arrest and following litigation.

But Us Weekly reports that MTV just released a Teen Mom OG reunion sneak peek showing Portwood being asked by Dr. Drew, who flew to Indiana to speak to the reality star, what happened the night of her arrest. She immediately (and understandably) starts to get nervous in the clip below.

She says to the camera crew, “I really need some assurance. Can you talk to my lawyers and just please, figure something out? I want to get my side of the story, however…,” and then the clip cuts off.

Will Portwood even be able to tell her side of the story? We will have to wait until the two-day reunion episode of Teen Mom OG airs on MTV Sept. 2-3 to find out.
