VIDEO: Amber Portwood Says She's 'Like a Ticking Time Bomb' in New 'Teen Mom OG' Clip

Amber Portwood has clearly been emotionally struggling, and now we have a little shred of proof on how long it's been going on.

The 29-year-old Teen Mom OG star was shown in a teaser trailer for the show this week talking to her therapist, Radar Online reports. Portwood has been very open about her struggle with bipolar and borderline Personality disorders, often inviting the MTV cameras into her therapy sessions.

In the video below, a crying Portwood tells the doctor, “It is like a ticking time bomb.” This session presumably took place prior to her July 5 arrest.

The reality star was arrested early last month for domestic battery. She allegedly hit her boyfriend and baby daddy, Andrew Glennon while he was holding their son, James, in his arms. Portwood also allegedly threatened to commit suicide, and wielded a machete at her estranged partner.

Portwood has not spoken to the media directly about the events of the night, though she has posted cryptic social media posts loosely associated with the incident.

Although this is only a short clip of Portwood, it does begin to shine some light on her mental state leading up to the night of the arrest.
