VIDEO: Cheyenne Floyd's Daughter Ryder Must Be Rushed to Hospital in New 'Teen Mom OG' Clip

The latest Teen Mom OG preview features a scary moment from Cheyenne Floyd's family. The MTV star has been incredibly open about her daughter's health struggles, and the upcoming episode reveals just how fragile little Ryder's wellbeing can be.

In the teaser clip, Cheyenne calls for an ambulance and rushes Ryder to the hospital after her fever spikes to a dangerous level. Ryder was also unable to keep down food, something that can be deadly for people with her VLCAD deficiency condition. Cheyenne also explains why she jumped to action by calling 911. "Her body can go into shock if she doesn’t eat, so I rushed her to the hospital," she says. "When Ryder has fevers it can turn into metabolic heart disease where she can go into shock or have a seizure. So we’re very cautious when she has a fever."

Unfortunately, Ryder's dad Cory Wharton couldn't be there for the scary scenario seeing as he was away filming for The Challenge. In an interview with PopCulture.com, the mom-of-one revealed why she decided not to immediately tell him about the hospital visit. "[Cory] was having a really hard time when he was there missing Ryder," Cheyenne said. Instead, she was sure to tell his girlfriend, Taylor Selfridge.

Fans shouldn't worry too much, though. Judging from Cheyenne's latest Instagram photos, Ryder is healthy and happy now.
