VIDEO: First Trailer for CW's 'Batwoman' is Here

Even though CW's hit show, Arrow, is ending in its eighth season, fans shouldn't expect the Arrowverse to come to a close. The network has just dropped the first trailer for its newest DC show, Batwoman.
Ruby Rose, known for Netflix's Orange is the New Black, will be reprising her role of Kathy Kane, a.k.a. Batwoman, which she's played briefly in CW's The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl.
The show will follow Kathy and her father Jacob Kane as they fight to protect a Batman-less Gotham from the Alice in the Wonderland gangs. With the help of the son of Lucius Fox, Wayne Enterprises tech expert Luke Fox, Kane makes a Batman suit fit to the size of a woman. You can read the full synopsis here on ComicBook.com.
Rose's portrayal of Batwoman will also bring about the first lesbian superhero to star in her own show.
Batwoman premieres this fall.
