VIDEO: Former Catwoman Michelle Pfeiffer Has Unexpected Advice for Zoë Kravitz
To many fans' excitement, was announced this week that Zoë Kravitz will be playing opposite Robert Pattinson’s Batman as Catwoman in Matt Reeves' upcoming film. And while I’m sure Kravitz is over-the-moon about winning the coveted role, veteran Catwoman Michelle Pfeiffer wants her to know that it the experience is incredible…except when nature calls.
The 61-year-old star recently stopped by Good Morning America to promote her newest film, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, which she stars in alongside Angelina Jolie. During the interview in the video below, host Michael Strahan asks her about her portrayal of Catwoman in Tim Burton’s 1992 film Batman Returns. Pfeiffer confirms the role was one of her favorites, and that she was thrilled to hear Kravitz would be the next Selena Kyle.
Strahan then asks if she has any words of wisdom for the Big Little Lies star, to which Pfeiffer hilariously replies, “Make sure, whilst designing the costume, they consider how you're going to go to the bathroom,” adding, “Minor detail” with a shrug and shake of the head after the audience erupts into laughter.
The host admits that he wasn’t expecting that piece of advice, to which Pfeiffer replies, “It’s an important one.”
A very important one indeed. Hopefully Kravitz hears Pfeiffer advice before the costume team starts their work.
