VIDEO: Watch Jennifer Aniston and Jimmy Kimmel Surprise Nurse With Coronavirus in Heartfelt Video Call
Now, for your daily dose of wholesome content. Amid the Coronavirus pandemic, Jennifer Aniston and Jimmy Kimmel are showing their gratitude for healthcare workers.
Aniston surprised a fan in the sweetest way on April 2, when she hopped on a video call with a nurse who had recently contracted Coronavirus. The nurse, Kimball Fairbanks, had called in to Thursday’s at-home episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, but she had no idea the Friends actress would be also joining.
When Kimball saw Aniston pop up on the screen, her face lit up and she was overcome with surprise. You can watch the heartwarming moment below.
The nurse is currently in quarantine as she recovers from COVID-19, and the Golden Globe winner shared the sweetest words for her new friend. “Hi, honey, it’s so good to meet you,” she said. “I just have to say, God bless you and all of you that are out there doing what you’re doing. I just, I don’t even know how to express my gratitude to everything that you guys are doing, putting your health at risk and all of that. You’re just phenomenal.”
The sweetest part of the video was undoubtedly when Kimmel and Aniston announced they would be gifting the nurse with a $10,000 gift card to the food service app Postmates. Plus, they gave all of her nurse friends back at work gift cards as well!
Like the rest of us, Aniston is self-quarantined at home, and it's so sweet to see her use part of her day in such a positive way.
