VIDEO: Jimmy Kimmel Calls Out Dr. Phil for Spoiling Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas' Wedding Date

America’s favorite TV psychologist, Dr. Phil McGraw, stopped by Jimmel Kimmel Live! this week to promote the 18th season of his talk show, Dr. Phil.

In the video below, Kimmel, who famously likes to give Dr. Phil a hard time on his show, first starts the interview by wishing the TV personality a happy 69th birthday. After some conversation, it is revealed that Dr. Phil celebrated his big day by going to Madison Square Garden to see the Jonas Brothers. His youngest son, Jordan, actually opened for the Jo Bros on their tour.

Kimmel then asked Dr. Phil how he ended up at Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’ wedding. The celebrity doctor explained that they met through his son, and have been “friends for a while now.” Kimmel then inquired about his “mess up” earlier this year on Instagram.

After pulling out a picture Turner posted on Instagram of her and Joe showing PDA in Paris a week before their extravagant (and super secret) French wedding, Kimmel explained that Dr. Phil ruined the big day by commenting on the picture, “Easy now! 1 week to go! Ha! See you at the wedding!”

Before Kimmel could finish, Dr. Phil interrupted, saying, “You’re getting ready to say I gave it away, that’s bulls**t.” Kimmel, prepared with his backup argument, then showed various news articles reporting the hard-hitting shrink did, in fact, give the date away.

“I didn’t know you had evidence,” Dr. Phil hilariously admitted.

To be fair to Dr. Phil, it was one of the most anticipated weddings of the year; the media was going to find out one way or another.
