VIDEO: John Krasinski, Chris Evans, and More Star in Must-See Super Bowl Commercial
Chris Evans is used to being a part of a pretty amazing team as Captain America in the Avengers, but now that his role as Steve Rogers is over, he has assembled another crew, and while they may not have super powers, they are equally as wicked awesome.
Evans, along with The Office star John Krasinski and Saturday Night Live comedian Rachel Dratch, came together to star in a Boston-themed Hyundai commercial for the Super Bowl. The three stars are all famously from Beantown, and they took an opportunity to show off their accents in order to highlight the features of the 2020 Sonata, which has a driver-less “Smart Park” system.
In the video above, Evans is shown watching a man trying to fit into a tight parking spot. “Look at this guy,” he says in thick Boston accent as Dratch appears with her bulldog. As the car drives away, Krasinski pulls in saying, “Look at these two trouble makers,” as he too lines himself up to park in the spot.
When Dratch and Evans tell the Jack Ryan star that his car isn’t going to fit, he shows off his “Smaht Pahk” feature. To really drive the Boston pride home, the threesome is also joined by Boston Red Sox legend David "Big Papi" Ortiz, who pops out from an apartment window to admire the car.
Getting these New Englanders together was a wicked smaht idea for Hyundai.
