VIDEO: Khloé Kardashian Recalls the Moment Tristan Thompson Asked Her to Be His Girlfriend

Things have been rough going for Khloé Kardashian. Since February, the mogul and author of Strong Looks Better Naked has been embroiled in controversy following the revelation that her then-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, allegedly cheated with Jordyn Woods, the best friend of Kardashian’s sister Kylie Jenner. Now, as the dust begins to settle, we're getting more information about the once-relationship, as a new clip shows KoKo sharing the moment when Thompson asked her to be his girlfriend.

According to E! News, Kardashian recalls the event during a newly-released deleted scene from Season 16 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. In the clip, she discusses the early stages of her relationship with friends Savas Oguz and Malika Haqq, who had been attempting to recall how their relationship had officially started.

“He said, ‘I want you to be my girlfriend’...in the club in Cabo,” Khloé said, saying that the event occurred on Sept. 4. While Oguz jokingly suggested that having ‘the talk’ is “middle school,” Kardashian added that “I love ‘the talk’…I'm not assuming I'm anyone's f**king girlfriend...Why would I assume?”

Since the emergence of the Thompson/Woods scandal, both Kardashian and her now-ex-boyfriend have been hit with allegations that their relationship actually began while Thompson was still dating the then-pregnant Jordan Craig. Kardashian, for her part, has denied these accusations, saying in an Instagram Story that Thompson told her he and Craig had broken up and that “This is...the truth I believed and trusted.”

As for us, we think it’s nice to see Kardashian going down memory lane to think about her relationship with Thompson--though it’s obviously a downer that the clip has now been released after all that's gone down.
