VIDEO: Kim Kardashian Explains How She Compromises With Kanye West on His New 'Journey'

Kim Kardashian is reminding us that every relationship involves compromise. On today's episode of The Real, the 39-year-old businesswoman spoke about Kanye West's evolution as a person and as a father, explaining how she navigates that while staying true to herself.

"I obviously want to honor him and what he's feeling and he's been going through this life change," she explained, adding that Kanye's new "journey" is for their children. Apparently, Kanye is getting increasingly cautious about what they have in the house, which led them to get rid of TVs in the kids' rooms and taking away North's makeup.

And while Kim admitted that Kanye is becoming more strict as a dad, she noted, "I actually agree with it, but I'm always going to be me, and we had that discussion and that fight," also adding, "At the end of the day, that's what marriage is. He's going to do things that I don't agree with and I support him and vice versa."

One of the hosts asked to clarify, "When you're talking about his journey, are you talking about his religious journey?" Kim confirmed that yes, Kanye's journey is a religious one and that things he did even one year ago, he probably wouldn't do now.

We're glad that even when Kanye seems a bit extreme, Kim is always going to try to work it out for the sake of their marriage.
