VIDEO: Lamar Odom Opens Up on Allegedly Leaving Taraji P. Henson for Khloé Kardashian

Lamar Odom is in the mood to talk! After publishing his memoir, Darkness to Light, the former NBA star appeared on an episode of Uncensored to talk discuss other elements of his past.

According to Cosmopolitan, before meeting Khloé Kardashian, Odom explained that he was dating Academy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson, known for her roles in Empire and Hidden Figures. He spoke about her with sincere praise in the video below, saying, “She was a little older than me, but I learned a lot from her because that was the most significant relationship as a grown-up that I had with a black woman.”

However, Lamar wasn't totally honorable in his dealings with Taraji. He then explained that he began talking to Khloé Kardashian, who he went on to marry, behind Taraji's back. “Things ended with Taraji because of me being an immature punk,” he shared. “I didn’t know how to tell her that I was falling in love with another woman named Khloé Kardashian.” Yikes!

Lamar's recent openness about his past is leading to drama in other circles. In a recent teaser for the upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloé discovers that her mom, Kris Jenner, had been lying to her about something to do with Lamar's memoir, and KoKo promises to confront her about it. What the lie actually was is for now unknown, but all will be revealed this Sunday.
