VIDEO: 'Teen Mom OG's Andrew Glennon Gives First Interview Since Amber Portwood's Arrest

Andrew Glennon has finally spoken out in his first interview following the arrest of his estranged girlfriend, Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood, Us Weekly reports.

Andrew sat down for a video chat with DailyMailTV to talk about what’s going on with him and Amber’s relationship, and to make it very clear that his one and only priority right now is the couple’s one-year-old son, James.

With his voice cracking, Andrew said, “I need to do what’s right for James, and I need to take the right steps for myself. The future’s unknown. All I know is what I need to do, like, right now, and that is to provide James with a safe, secure happy environment.”

Amber was arrested early July 5 after allegedly hitting Andrew while he was holding James. According to court documents, she also wielded a machete and threatened to kill herself during the altercation. She was charged with three felony counts of domestic battery.

Andrew told DailyMailTV that the incident has completely changed his life. “If you could imagine having your whole world and everything that you love flipped upside down in a heartbeat, that’s it," he explained. “There’s gonna be a lot of healing that needs to be done and repairing between James and I.”

And what about those infidelity rumors?

Andrew denied ever cheating, and said he is hurt that Amber hasn’t defended him publicly. “People are just going to slap it on me,” he stated. “It’s a bashing of my character, and what hurts, I guess, is the fact that she hasn’t come out and made a statement to say, you know, ‘I wasn’t talking about Andrew. I was talking about somebody else.'”

We will have to wait and see if Amber responds to Andrew's interview.
