VIDEO 'The Office' Stars Reunite on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' to Talk Possible Reboot
Could it be a Christmas miracle? Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week to sit down with guest-host Ellie Kemper, their former co-star on The Office. In the video which can be seen below, the ladies are excited to be reunited, and quickly jumped into all things Office.
Kemper first thanks the ladies for being so welcoming to her when she joined the iconic series in the fifth season as Erin Hannon. She then asks them about the resurgence of popularity the show is experiencing. Fischer, who played Pam Beesley on the sitcom, states, “I feel like it is more popular now than when we were on before.”
The three gals then share hilarious stories about their rediscovered fame as members of the Dunder Mifflin crew. Kinsey even reveals that she was asked to take a selfie with “a sweet person in a big jumpsuit,” only to find out that it was Billie Eilish. “I’m a dinosaur,” she jokes. “But I Googled her and she’s fantastic!”
Kemper then asks if the Office Ladies podcast hosts would be willing to do a reboot. Fischer says, “I would not do an Office reboot, but I would love to do a reunion special episode.” Kinsey takes a different approach admitting, “I would do anything they called me to do.”
When the crowd erupted with cheers, Kemper agrees with Kinsey, saying, “I’m with you, Angela…So Angela and I are rebooting The Office.”
If they somehow could get Steve Carell or Rainn Wilson on board, 2020 would be the best year ever.
