VIDEO: Watch Gwendoline Christie Correctly Predict Who Wins the Game of Thrones Years Ago [SPOILERS]

This story includes spoilers for 'Game of Thrones' Season 8.
Whether you like it or not, Bran Stark, now King of the Six Kingdoms, won the game of thrones in the HBO series of the same name. Astonishingly enough, though, a fan theorized his ascension to becoming the ruler perfectly, but there might have been one other person who predicted the twist ending of Game of Thrones--someone far more close to the show.
ComicBook.com reports that Gwendoline Christie, who played Brienne of Tarth on the series, predicted the show's ending two years ago in an interview with her co-star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. In the interview with Extra TV host Mario Lopez, the actors were asked who they thought would win the Iron Throne at the end of the series. Christie's answer? A clear Bran.
“But don’t you think it’s gonna be someone out of left field?,” Christie says in the video. “What we know about the show is it constantly surprises you, so I’m wondering if it might be Bran.”
Lopez and Coster-Waldau clearly thought she was wrong, but now that we know the truth it's kind of funny to see their reactions. Christie hit the nail on the head, though, when she went on to explain that a lot of what we see in the show comes from Bran's visions.
“Well, just because we keep seeing the world from his perspective, don't we we keep seeing the visions so is he in the future projecting in the past?” Christie adds in the clip. Coster-Waldau wasn't having any of it, though, saying in the video, “The Three-Eyed Raven as the king? No, it doesn’t make sense.”
While Bran didn't ultimately sit on the Iron Throne--as it was destroyed by Drogon in the finale--he did win the title of the King. Maybe Christie has some Three-Eyed Raven skills of her own.
