Watch Tom Hiddleston Crash Charlie Cox's Comic Con Panel With a Special Announcement
By Kwadar Ray
While attending the ACE Comic Con Arizona panel Saturday, Daredevil star Charlie Cox had an unexpected surprise. Usually having someone crash your panel isn't ideal, but when it's your close friend, it's a bit different.
Thor and Avengers star Tom Hiddleston was the culprit, as he surprised the crowd to announce that he and Cox will co-star in an upcoming play in London.
"I don't mean to interrupt, but I was too excited by the coincidence," Hiddleston began, as fans cheered the Loki actor. "It's such a coincidence that Charlie and I are both in the same building because only a couple of days ago it was announced that Charlie is going to join Zawe Ashton in Betrayal in London in the spring."
"Yes, it's so cool because I've been signing autographs and a bunch of people, they've found out Tom was doing Betrayal...they ordered tickets...they already had tickets to come here, and then yesterday they found out that I was going to be in it as well," Cox replied.
The Daredevil actor also discussed how excited he and Hiddleston are to reunite and co-star in Betrayal.
"It's so cool. Tom and I hadn't seen each other for like four years, and then we found out we were going to do this play together, and then knew we were coming here this weekend, so it's very exciting," he said.
According to Broadway, the play tells the story of a "compelling seven-year romance captured in reverse chronological order."
