Where is 'The Bachelor Australia' Filmed?
By Lillian Marx
Much of the drama on The Bachelor Australia unfolds in a stunning mansion, replete with twinkling chandeliers and cascading spiral staircases. The house is so breathtaking it practically steals the show, and while the exact location of the Bachelor mansion Down Under isn’t public, there’s been some speculation.
According to Yahoo!, the mansion is believed to sit at the estate Nelly’s Farm on Sydney’s beautiful Northern Beaches, an idyllic setting that must have helped the women of Season 7 to pass all that time away from cellphones and social media, waiting for Bachelor Matt Agnew to swoop them up for a date.
The show's Art Department explained their vision for the house to 10 Daily, saying, “We like to ensure every inch of the mansion is dressed and ensure it oozes opulence and romance.” That means bold patterns, luxe fabrics, and pops of color, not to mention the “thousands and thousands” of candles and twinkle lights.
These interior designers don’t get to rest after the final rose, though. The house gets a manly makeover when Bachelorette season rolls around.
