Why Jenelle Evans Reportedly Jetted Off to New York City at Same Time as 'Teen Mom' Reunion

The ladies of Teen Mom 2 were out shooting the reunion in New York City this past weekend, as well as the cast of Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant. And it just so happens that someone else was in the Big Apple at the same time: none other than ex MTV star Jenelle Evans.

With all the Teen Mom activity happening, it certainly seems suspicious that Jenelle was in the same city as all of the action. According to The Ashley, the mom-of-three has in fact been in contact with the network about a future project. They report:

“[A higher up] from MTV contacted Jenelle and requested a meeting with her. They kept telling Jenelle that she is still under contract, and that they wanted to talk to her about possibly returning to the show, so she flew up there.”

Apparently nothing has been decided yet, but the former Teen Mom 2 star reportedly did bring her lawyer with her just in case.

This could be a huge opportunity for Jenelle, who has been getting very creative with financial schemes, including an eyebrow palette through JE Cosmetics that reportedly suffered dismal sales. A return to MTV could mean a significant financial boost for the TV personality and her family. The Ashley was clear to clarify, thankfully, that Jenelle's husband, David Eason, would not be returning to any MTV production.
