Why People Think Katharine McPhee Might’ve Just Shaded Kim Kardashian

Katharine McPhee is using a recent Instagram post to tease Kim Kardashian. McPhee, who recently married David Foster, posted a bikini pic while vacationing in the Maldives. Check out the photo below.

McPhee teased that her husband, David, posted the picture while playing games on her phone. A fan didn't get the joke and asked, "Why would a 60 Year old man being playing games on your phone. Just own it. You look good and you posted a pic."

So McPhee had to jump in and clarify: "No. no. Look up an old Kim K tweet! ?You’ll get it."

If you go deep into the Instagram archives, you'll find this little treasure from Kim Kardashian, the exact photo Katharine McPhee is referring to.

Kim captioned the photo by saying that North picked it out while "playing games" on her phone and said, "Not sure why or how she chose it but I'm not complaining!"

What makes the joke so hilarious is that North was 2-years-old at the time and it seems highly unlikely that a toddler was able to successfully upload a photo to Instagram. Kim got some serious shade for the post, with people telling her to just own up to the fact she wanted to post a bikini-throw-back photo.

But McPhee herself got teased for her joke with one fan writing: "Damn are u that obsessed with kim that u remember a tweet from 2015? God damn!" Sure, the post was a long time ago but it's still funny!
