Woody Harrelson has joined the Marvel Spiderman-verse in Venom: Let There Be Carnage as the Venom sequel villain, "Carnage", and on Monday, fans finally got a good look at the actor in his terrifying get up, as Sony dropped a new trailer for Tom Hardy’s upcoming film.

While we already caught a slight glimpse of Carnage at the end of the first Venom movie during the credits and saw a bit more of him in the first trailer, this new footage was the first time that fas fully got the low down on the relationship dynamic between Woody Harrelson’s serial killer villain Cletus Kasady — aka Carnage — and Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock — aka Venom, which makes us so much more excited for its upcoming September release!

A synopsis for the film reads: “One year after the events of Venom , investigative journalist Eddie Brock struggles to adjust to life as the host of the alien symbiote Venom, which grants him super-human abilities in order to be a lethal vigilante.

Brock attempts to reignite his career by interviewing serial killer Cletus Kasady, who becomes the host of the symbiote Carnage and escapes prison after a failed execution.”

Venom: Let There be Carnage is scheduled for release in theatre on September 24.
