Natalie Portman leaves fans stunned with her muscular physique in Thor: Love And Thunder trailer

Natalie Portman has left fans gobsmacked with her 'ripped' physique as she returns to the Thor franchise after nearly a decade. The actress's return as Jane Foster in the Thor: Love And Thunder trailer was much-anticipated, but it was her muscular arms that captured fans' attention.

The Black Swan star, 40, made a dramatic entrance in the trailer as Thor's iconic hammer, called Mjölnir, was seen hurtling into the hands of Jane, the romantic interest of Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth. Thor, who was embroiled in battle at the time, stood in complete disbelief as he stared in awe at the new superhero, who stood in a fighting pose with the hammer in one hand. 

But as fans watched the tense moment, they couldn't help but notice Natalie's dramatic change in appearance as she looked more muscular in the clip than in her last appearance as Jane in 2013.

Viewers were quick to share their shock on social media, with many Twitter users comparing her new look to her sci-fi role as Padmé Amidala in Star Wars. 

One person penned: "Swole Natalie Portman is potentially one of the greatest things ever."
