'You' Season 2 Casts 'Haunting of Hill House' Star Victoria Pedretti as Female Lead

If you quickly binge-watched the recent series You in the first weekend it hit Netflix last month, you're not alone. The show instantly blew up once it premiered on the streaming service, with fans excited to see Penn Badgley back in a new role which is so similar to his most famous: Dan Humphrey from Gossip Girl. But while Joe Goldberg in You is a stalker, he's unfortunately way more than just that.
And beyond all the gross romanticizing of the murderous character, the good news is You is getting a second season! It's set to be based on the second book of the series by Caroline Kepnes, entitled Hidden Bodies. We can only imagine what other hidden bodies Joe will keep in the bookstore basement... And now, we have an idea. The next lady he will presumably be stalking has been cast.
According to Variety, Victoria Pedretti will play the female lead come Season 2. Netflix fans will recognize Pedretti for her recent success in fan-favorite series Haunting of Hill House, which premiered on streaming service this past October. Reportedly, Pedretti will play character Love Quinn in You, "an aspiring chef working as a produce manager in a high-end grocery store."

In addition to You, Pedretti will also appear in Quentin Tarantino's highly-anticipated film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which hits theaters in July 2019.
No release date for You Season 2 has been confirmed yet, but stay tuned for any more casting news.
