'You' Season 2 Release Date Revealed

Although it bred a whole new level of thirst with Penn Badgley's portrayal of stalker-turned-murderer Joe Goldberg, You Season 1 was an overall great binging experience, which is why when it was announced the show was renewed for another season, fans were extremely excited to see what's to come. And it looks it's coming sooner than we anticipated.

Badgley took to Twitter today to share that Season 2 will be debuting just in time for the holidays, on Dec. 26. The announcement was accompanied with a creepy teaser video, featuring the Gossip Girl alum looking face first into the camera. Yikes.

As we previously reported, the second season will star Victoria Pedretti opposite Badgley, playing a character who Variety describes as "an aspiring chef working as a produce manager in a high-end grocery store." Fans will know Pedretti for her role in Netflix's Haunting of Hill House, who will be returning to the horror show for its second season.

Fingers crossed Joe Goldberg isn't as attractive to audiences the second time around, when You Season 2 premieres next month.
