Zendaya SKIPS MET Gala 2022 for second time in a row
According to reports, Queen of Fashion and red carpet Zendaya was forced to "skip" year's Met Gala because of her "grueling work schedule", an excuse she also used back in September when she missed the postponed Met Gala.
A red carpet fashion darling, Zendaya had to miss the annual Met Gala for the second year in a row but assured fans that she would "keep delivering in other ways." Zendaya told Extra prior to the event that she would be skipping it due to work commitments.

She said: 'I'm gonna disappoint my fans here, but I will be working. Your girl's gotta work and make some movies. So I wish everyone the best. I will be playing tennis. But yeah, I’ll be back eventually…Yeah, I’ll keep delivering in other ways [on other red carpets].'
She previously discussed her red carpet style with InStyle, saying: 'I think about red carpets as having their own characters and narratives.
'We build a little story for all the looks. It's like an extension of my acting career in a weird way—you just pop this wig on or whatever it is. Clothes sometimes are very emotional, so I get to embody these different facets—maybe they're of myself, or maybe they're alter egos. But I get to meet these different women through clothes.'
